Just dropping a line to let you all know that I've created what's called the Friday Night Movement ( www.fridaynight.ca ), a promotions and production company for the Winnipeg-Saskatoon region. We've been going for almost a year now and the aim is to promote and book dj's, bands, and other musical entities in the two cities regularly overlooked by our touring bands. Don't get me wrong, we have lots of touring bands stopping by, but not the ones that Winnipegers and ToonTown Peoples like to dance too... In the next month, we will have many HipStar Production Artists coming through that include: Grand Theft Bus, the Jimmy Swift Band, Wassabi Collective, and Blue Quarter. We look forward to promoting these band's first and future appearances in the Prairies and know from the Moses experience that people are here and want to dance, listen, and party like the rest of Canada. The sun is shinning, the banana chips are brining, and yet another hot and smogless Prairie summer begins.
