bradm
If you're not going to go to the Comfort Station / The Crowd show at The Bayou on Saturday (Sept. 25), one alternative is Mr. Something Something at The Rainbow. They bust out serious afro-funk/jazz (almost trancy at times, too), with a great horn section. I'll be there. Aloha, Brad
Snelly
I'll probably see you there. I think I've managed to talk a few people into checking them out as well.

bradm
IIRC, that TJH show you caught was at The Pourhouse, which is at William & George. The Rainbow is a few blocks away (North and East, I think). Murray runs East-West, and 76 Murray is a block or two from the Sussex end of it. The show's listed as a 9pm start (with an opening act on until 8pm), so I'm planning on getting there around 8:30pm; I'm assuming there'll be two sets.
