Blane
Starting to check out the lineup and it's looking good so far. Wilco, Black Crowes, Gov't Mule, the Duo with Gordo, Trey band, etc. etc. etc., and sure to be more added. I think this may be my year. I've got some free time at last, and wouldn't mind pairing it up with a bit of travel down in the south. Air Canada has flights for about 500, right now (that's without hunting for deals). Anyone else thinking about hitting this? Wierness? Groove Fetish? Anyone?
ike
I'm thinking about hitting jazz fest again this year. I've been 4 out of the 5 past years and I've never been disappointed. Not sure about flying though, that can get pretty expensive with all the cabs, hotels and such. I'm thinking about taking my RV down if I can get enough people to make it worth while. It costs around $800 round trip, but if you get 6 people in there that's only $133 a piece.
Blane
that sounds like fun. NOt sure about timing though. I guess it's like a 2 day trip down and back? I'd have to see how much time I can spare. I have frequent flyer points that I had planned to use to get down there, but I guess saving on the accomodation helps.
