Rock Crew Productions is very proud to present The Junction at The Grad Club on February 26 with special guests The Roamers. Cover is $6.

Imagine a sound that combines the organic acoustic elements of folk music, with an innovative interpretation of the modern British rock scene. Welcome to the unique sound of The Junction.

'With This Comes Tomorrow' is their first nationally distributed EP that will leave the listener wanting more. These four friends from Brampton, Ontario have spent a long time developing a sound with variety that ranges from light-hearted four-to-the-floor sing-alongs to intensely creepy indie rock. Each member has created an individual voice on their respective instrument, and in conjunction with the texture and musicality of the vocal melodies comes a sound that is both diverse and unique.

The Junction released a 3 song self-titled teaser EP in February 2003 and has since sold upwards of 1000 copies to fans. Citing such nfluences as the Dave Matthews Band, Radiohead, and Travis, The Junction has a distinctive energy to their music that is contagious. One listen and it's obvious that they are ready to say something that Canadian music needs to have said. The Junction has already brought their danceable fortitude to the UK and will be touring Canada in the fall to support this release.

The Junction is Brent Jackson (vocals/guitar), Matthew Jameson (bass), Joel James (keyboards/vocals) and Mike Taylor (drums).

The Roamers are a rock and roll quartet from Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

Simple, Raw, and Catchy...that's how the Roamers believe rock and roll should sound....And that's exactly what there doing...

The band initially formed in the summer of 2001 in drummer Ryan Fraser's basement as a two piece with Mark Wilson on guitar and vocals. They eventually evolved and added David Moulton on guitar and Dave Lander on bass. The four initially met as friends in high school, which can be seen in their live show as a special chemistry is felt.

K Rock 105.7 has featured The Roamers multiple times on their New Music Preview show with comparisons to The Strokes. The Roamers were also in the 2004 K Rock Band Slam for Canadian Music Week.

The Roamers are currently playing the bar scene and doing shows with popular indie and major label acts such as The Organ, Atomic 7, Projet Orange, and Thornley.
