I seem to remember someone getting shot dead at the last 50 Cent concert in Toronto.

If you go to a 50 Cent concert you should definitely think to wear a kevlar bulletproof jacket!

You would have to pay me a lot of cash ot attend one of his gigs.

Man Shot During 50 Cent NYC Radio Appearance

A man was shot in the leg last night (Feb. 28) in the lobby of a New York radio station while 50 Cent was making an on-air appearance, police said. The rapper, who was at the station promoting the upcoming release of his Shady/Aftermath/Interscope album "The Massacre," was not harmed in the incident.

According to Newsday, the injured man was a member of 50 Cent's entourage. The newspaper reported that the shooting happened shortly after the rapper announced he was dropping his protégé the Game from his hip-hop clique, G-Unit.

The victim, a 24-year-old Los Angeles man who was not identified, was shot in the left leg. Officials said he was taken to St. Vincent's Hospital and was listed in stable condition early today.

The shooting occurred shortly about 10 p.m. at WQHT-FM (Hot 97), according to police spokesperson Sgt. Kevin Farrell. No arrests had been made. Police were investigating the incident.

Spokespeople for 50 Cent and Interscope were not available for comment.

In 2001, rapper Lil' Kim's entourage engaged in a shootout at the same radio station that left one man wounded. Her bodyguard was sentenced to 12 years in prison for that shooting and she is about to stand trial on perjury and conspiracy charges connected to the incident.
