Recorded in the Bahamas last December and produced by (Clone mixer) David Z, Sixty Six Steps picks up where their debut collaborative album Clone left off, showcasing the deepening musical relationship between Mike and Leo flavored by its tropical setting. Nassau's legendary Compass Point Studios served as the musical backdrop and Bahamian percussionist Neil Symonette enriches Mike and Leo's interplay with local island rhythms for an intricate and danceable blend of songs, including the island classic 'Ya Mar', popularized by Phish.
