For some reason, there is a slew of good music happening in hamilton on Monday night of all things... I'll probably go to Octoberman and than swing by the Underground for The Populars.

- Octoberman is Marc Morrissette, side project from Kids These Days guitarist. fans of good songwriting will lap this up. very folky/country.

At PJC

Cadence Weapon

- Edmonton based conscious hip-hop. a band from D.C. is opening too... Ken, little help?

at Underground

Mahogany Frog and The Populars

- Mahogany Frog are a Saskatoon-based progressive metal jammy band... Kinds on the Umphrey's side of things. The Populars are straight ahead rock, but very good at it. Lots of unique influences brought in.
