NewRider Posted April 6, 2006 Report Share Posted April 6, 2006 What an incredible night of music for Toronto. Three great shows going on in the city but I have no regrets about attending this one. Great Lake Swimmers I had never seen before and wasn't quite sure what to expect from them. They had some really great songs, very folky and country. Most of the audiance was there to see them as I think Toronto is their hometown. A lot of people left when their set finished, some even boo'd when they said "Centro-Matic is up next". Those people REALLY missed a rock show! UN-FUCKING-REAL!!! I can't believe the harmony between Will Johnson and Scott Danbom. Even with half the crowd emptying out of the Horseshoe for their set they were jumping all over the place smashing out one great song after another. I haven't been this blown away by a live band in a while and it was really pleasant to see I wasn't the only one in the crowd that enjoyed it.
