Gotta Be Jam, Jelly Don't Sound Like That

So, you've had an amazing week grooving yourself to pieces at the BluesFest, and you're thinking, "Man, I need to rest. No music for me for a while." You're wrong: shutting yourself off from music completely, after sating yourself to such a level as last week's, is the wrong approach. Instead, you should taper off, gradually, and give your body time to get used to lower levels of live music.

To that end, Cafe Dekcuf and its continually-varying and -increasing minions of devil-may-care, throw-caution-to-the-wind improvising musicians, otherwise known as the Jammer Tuesdaze platoon, would like to help.

We offer you fun, funky, surprising music, made up fresh for you, on the spot. You'll have no idea what's going to happen, because we have no idea what's going to happen. We let it all hang out so you can all hang out and enjoy yourselves.

We start moderately early, usually between 9:30pm and 10:00pm, and wrap up around 1:00am, but since it's free, you can drop by, have a refreshing beverage or three, stay as long or as short as you want, and feel you've got a good deal. (And if you play an instrument, or just want to get on stage and rant vocally with made-up raw tunage in the background, we need you! New musicians are always welcome.)

It happens every Tuesday (including tonight) at Cafe Dekcuf, 221 Rideau, upstairs. Hope to see y'all out.

Aloha,

Brad
