let me set the setting.

AJ, Anthony and Carmela's son was caught vandalizing the school swimming pool, I know, how do you vandalize a pool... here is the family punishment, if you are unfamiliar with the show, well, you still may find some humour.

Characters---Carmela---mom, Tony---Dad, AJ--son

scene in the kitchen, AJ approaches his parents who are on a united front....

Carmela--"your father and I have discussed your punishment."

Tony--"you're grounded for a month. No nintendo, no DVDs, no skateboards."

Carmela---"no computer."

AJ---"But I use the computer for school"

Carmela---"Get the typewriter out of the basement"

AJ---"Dad threw it out"

Carmela---"Then use a pen, it worked for Einstein; it can work for you"

Tony---"On top of that, you're going to work your little ass off around here. Which you should have been doing anyway"

AJ---"ok"

Tony---"Ok or not, you've got no choice; number one--you go to the garage, you clean it out, you make it neat and organized"

Carmela---"Jackie Jr. did that the other day"

Tony---"You see what I am saying about him?"

You know, you outta take a few lessons from Jackie Apreu; get your act together, kid's pre-med from Rutgers: he finds time to come down here and help out"

Carmela---"and you're going to clean the gutters"

AJ---"what gutters?"

Tony---"The ones on the roof"

AJ---"Where?"

Tony---"The things that collect the water!"

AJ---"I don't know what you mean!?"

Tony---"Don't get smart with me!!"

Carmela---"The drain pipes for the rain!?"
