Sunshine
bump.....above questions remain unanswered (and I need to get some sleep tonight) The reason mine took 6 months is I would go for 1.5 to 2 hour sittings, then we would let it heal for 2 to 3 weeks, and then I would go back. It was a great journey. For Weeks after I would stand in front of the mirror starring at it.
Del
I recently got my first tat. It was the Phish logo (I know... Lame) on my upper right arm. I love it. It's not colored (yet) and I got it for $40, (which was paid for by a friend), but I got it for a discount (because I knew the artist, who happens to be crazykorey's dad, Mike). My new avatar is my next tattoo. It's going to cost me $100. Which is cheap. I don't have "the bug" to get more, but I can see how they are addictive. Tattoos kick ass. I recommend that everyone get at least one. They don't hurt (depending on where you get them) and they are a constant reminder about a certain time and place. I have no regrets.
