Lotus has always tip-toed the tight rope that is drawing on multiple genres, as with their new release, The Strength of Weak Ties (April 11 - Harmonized Records) - slip one way and it's a haphazard melting pot: fall to the other and you've got a diluted derivative; but hang on and you can find something new where the familiar meets foreign - glitch-hop programming meets rock 'n' roll drums, overdriven guitars meet overdriven synthesizers, primitive drum machines meet funky back beats, and post-rock meets electronica.

THEMASSES, Themasses' music is a blend of infectious beats and unique progressions without formulas or rules. It's created with the live performance in mind, where the crowd is the show and the dance floor is the stage. In their mission to put some DJ's out of work, they play instrumental house music with the dynamics and energy that could only come from a LIVE four piece band. Elements of funk and jazz are also present, resulting in an upbeat, unpredictable, original sound that has been packing dance floors consistently for more than three years.

Formed in 2002 beneath the dramatic landscape of Vancouver BC, Their demo/EP release, 'The Pile', has gone into its third printing and their brand new groundbreaking album, 'Drift Thing', will be released in April 2006. Produced by Ben Kaplan, (Blue Quarter, Freeflow) 'Drift Thing' features some incredible guest musicians including break-out vocalist Sherry St. Germain and Chapman Stick master, Olivier. Drift Thing is a groundbreaking exploration of sonic grooves and upbeat, organic electronica guaranteed to captivate the listener and shake the booty.

DJ HARRY : SCI Fidelity recording artist DJ Harry has toured throughout the US and Canada since 1993, DJing on his own and with artists including Doc Martin, Mark Farina, DJ Dan, Kimbal Collins, Max Graham, DJ Logic, Moby, James Brown, The String Cheese Incident, Keller Williams, Galactic, Spearhead, Lotus, The New Deal, Particle, etc and has performed festivals from Jam Cruise to Bonnaroo. His music appears on multiple labels with sales totaling 60,000 units worldwide. Harrys recent release, Collision, received glowing press and peaked at Number 3 on the CMJ RPM Chart. DJ Harry is named in URB Magazine's The Next 100 for 2005.
