Hey folks! If any of you will be in the Vancouver Island area in early November, there's a great show coming up that you should know about:

Victoria BC's Gratefully Deadicated are performing on Friday, November 10 at the Denman Island Community Hall (BC) for the 2nd annual Remember Jerry. If you're familiar with the Victoria scene, you'll certainly know lead singer/rhythm guitarist Lucky Budd, as well as keyboardist Chris Van Sickle who is also a member of Stephen Franke and Noises from the Toolshed. On the 10th anniversary of Jerry Garcia's death in 2005, about 80 Deadheads and music lovers got together on Denman Island to celebrate Garcia's legacy. We threw a great party and raised enough money to sponsor one young Tibetan refugee. This year, we want to take it to the next level: a great night of live Dead music on one of the West Coast's best dance floors and enough funds to sponsor several Tibetan refugee children!

What a great night we had on Denman Island on Friday! The band was amazing. They changed their name before hitting the stage to Canadian Beauty.
