Victoria's Carolyn Mark, fashion magnate, exquisite songstress, hootenanny queen, is returning to Hamilton to grace us with a show that will make you laugh, cry and have one hell of a hangover the next day. Her tourmate is Geoff Berner, a ridiculously smart and verbose chap who plays the accordion non-ironically. He believes that boredom is responsible for all the wrongs in the world. He wrote a song about it. For real.

Both are not to be missed. This is also the birthday of William Faulkner, Barbara Walters and French geologist Jean-Baptiste Elie de Beaumont. Coincidence? Absolutely.
