Drawing from a wide range of genres, (jungle, dub reggae, nu-skool breaks, dancehall, electro funk), doppler defect pushes the boundaries of live music, incorporating improvised musicianship with live sounds, extending the parameters of contemporary composition. The ultimate goal of doppler defect is to achieve a sonic tableau unheard before, spontaneous composition, telepathic communication, twenty-first century soundscapes, all translating to a funky dance floor vibe.
