The Green is a magnificent venue to experience a concert. Perched atop the highest point in Shelburne Museum, The Green faces west with panoramic views of the rolling foothills of the Green Mountains, serene Lake Champlain, and the distant Adirondacks.DIRECTIONS:The Green at Shelburne Museum is conveniently located 7 miles south of Burlington, VT along US Route 7 (a major Vermont artery that goes through Burlington). Traveling South on Rt 7, the Museum is on the right (west) side. Look for signs.VENDORS:There will be local Vermont food and beverage vendors on site for the event as well as some local artisans. Alcohol will be served in designated beer gardens. Please bring your ID if you plan on drinking.HANDICAP ACCESSIBILITY:Please keep in mind that this is an outdoor field; however, we will have handicap parking close to the main entrance. We ask that you alert us in advance to any special needs you may have in order for us to better accommodate you. CAMPING/ACCOMMODATIONS:While there is no camping onsite, there are a number of campgrounds and hotels nearby. We take customer feedback and comments seriously. For this reason we’re including this note with every ticket to address some of the concerns that were realized last summer.A few concerns:1. We discourage coolers. Since we must perform a search for glass, alcohol, and sometimes cameras (depending on the artist), coolers can slow the entry process down. It’s our goal to get everyone in as quickly as possible.2. Chairs. We do not allow tall festival chairs (anything a basketball can fit under) since those directly behind you cannot see. Low, beach-style chairs are fine, as are blankets. If you bring a tall festival chair you’ll be asked to sit at the back of the lawn.3. Umbrellas. Small pocket umbrellas are fine if it looks like inclement weather, however large beach umbrellas will not be admitted as they impede the views of those sitting around you. 4. Children. We encourage a family atmosphere and allow children under 12 for free. We hope to continue this practice and ask that parents please keep an eye on their children, particularly for quieter performances when others are trying to listen to the music. 5. Dancing. There were issues last summer at some of the concerts with folks dancing in front. If you want to dance please go to either side of the stage so that those who remain seated can see.6. Leaving the concert. It can take 30-45 minutes to exit the parking lots. Please be patient. Everyone is trying to leave at once and it just takes time to get everyone onto Route 7. Carpooling is the best solution.7. Neighbors & Respect. Please be respectful of Shelburne Museum and their neighbors. They’re very gracious to allow us to host our summer concert series. Please don’t litter or make unnecessary noise (like beeping to get out of the parking lots faster). These wonderful events will only continue if everyone is respectful and works together
