The new director is much more in tune with the younger scene and is not afraid to take chances on something new. So far he has booked two Folk events: Woodhands and Timber Timbre. I'd like to make it to this fest at least once as it's one of the bigger name folk fests in Ontario I've yet to check out - but I'd like to see more of the line up before deciding. Timber Timbre I'd be interested in checking out, but I've seen Woodhands and honestly, digital/electro dance music really doesn't interest me. They have just played Folk Fest presents events over the past little while.The early bird pricing runs from now until May 31.The lineup was to be announced on April 17- but that is on hold until further notice.
