Kanada Kev
I've always enjoyed shows where they take recordings and deconstruct them. Whether it be placing it in historical context, literary/musical references, instrumentation, etc.The "Classic Albums" series is gold. There are a bunch of BBC radio shows that do this with individual songs as well. I just went through this one and it's really cool:"http://www.dangerousminds.net/comments/the_making_of_10ccs_im_not_in_love/""The 9:41 audio documentary reveals some of the analog-era soundcraft and technology behind that magic, some of which was very new at the time. Endless loops and multilayered "aaahs," a synth heartbeat in place of a drum, and hyperbolic chord overlays of some 256 voices, exhaling all at once."10cc - I'm Not In Love Edited July 20, 2010 by Guest
