bradm Posted September 4, 2010 Report Share Posted September 4, 2010 Ottawa folk: if, like me, you're staying in town this weekend and are looking for some live music, there are a couple of dinner-time / early-evening shows on Saturday and Sunday.The first is Back Talk Organ Trio at The Rainbow on Saturday, which is the first of a September - December Saturday residency for the group, which includes Mike Essoudry on drums. It runs from 4pm - 7pm.The second is IMOO at Umi Cafe on Sunday. This is also the first of a twice-a-month residency, and also features Mike Essoudry, but this time with several other heavy-hitting improvidation musicians of the Ottawa/Outaouais region.
