Rob Not Bob Posted November 19, 2003 Report Share Posted November 19, 2003 Michael Kamen, a noted Orchestral Arranger and composer of movie scores, has passed on. He was 55. He had been suffering from MS for the past few years. He wrote and conducted the orchestral scores for Pink Floyd albums like The Wall and The Final Cut, as well as working with both David Gilmour and Roger Waters (including The Wall : Live In Berlin) . He worked with many different artists, including David Bowie, Eric Clapton, Sting, Metallica, Eurythmics, Kate Bush, Ron Wood, Indigo Girls, Bryan Adams, Queen and Queenryche . He was nominated for an Oscar for co-writing Everything I Do, I Do It For You from the Robin Hood : Prince Of Thieves soundtrack. RnB Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
