Bands in Ottawa this saturday

Agreed, there is a somewhat good music out here in O-Town, I think part of the problem is advertising/publicity and making sure everyone get's together on music events and are all able to come out as a collective unit to see bands and well just party like mad together. for instance, we've had some sweet parties this summer at 40 Main St, where we got 100 people showing up and getting together to have some fun, while hearing good music. Another part of it is bands, if we can get 2 or 3 bands out that everyone likes to see and have similar groups that come out to see them, then these bands playing at the same bar with a large group of friends coming out to see them solves the problem. 2 or 3 of these parties a month at any bar really will be prosperous for us as jam fans and for bar owners who will make money from it. for me it's a fun social gathering, a way to meet people make friends, listen and play music. It may be as easy as setting up another "40 Main Party" at a designated bar who's interested, as for the Kegs of Beer, well we'll have to figure that part out. Lets put our heads together on one of these, get everyone involved, a few local bands interested and get a bar owner on to this event, and you can bet your ass we'll fill the place and have a blast doing it.
