We just got Windows 2000 and it does not support our old Mcafee software and I don't want to go out and buy new stuff....is there a good one online that is free to download??? h Posted May 7, 2002 Report Share Posted May 7, 2002 that's weird, but it's a legit copy? if not, no prob, but if it is, there must be something theyd do - email them and ask them what youre suppose to do now, it's unreasonable for them not to have a solution...otherwise, i had a problem of trying to clean a virus from my mothers machine a month or so ago, and i could not find anything free at all - well i finally found a little app specifically for that virus ... LJFH Posted May 7, 2002 Author Report Share Posted May 7, 2002 yeah, I bought it at Futureshop...it says it is only good for win95/98 and I didn't realize that until after I tried to install it onto the computer after we did the reformat of the c drive....doh!!!
