The Monty Hall Problem

Recommended Posts

There's 3 doors, a car is behind one of them while each of the other 2 have goats behind them. First, pick the door you think has the car. If it's not the car, you are left with a 50/50 chance of getting it right on your next try. When Monty Hall asks you if you want to switch doors at that point, you should - because it doubles your chances of winning. This is the Monty Hall Problem.

The explanation was baffling to me at first, but this helped me figure it out.
