AD Posted April 26, 2003 Report Share Posted April 26, 2003 Happened in Ottawa last night. Buck 65 and Julie Doiron at the NAC's Fourth Stage. Great little room, excellent acoustics, candlelit tables everywhere and no one was more than 40 feet from the stage. About 120 capacity I think. Julie was great as always, but Buck 65 was amazing. First 3 tracks were solo, then he brought out his band! Guitar player (Charles Austin, ex of Superfriendz) Mac PowerBook 'player', keys, and pedal steel. It was by far the best thing my ears have heard in such a long long time. CBC Radio and TV taped it, so hopefully you'll all get to see it real soon.
