DevO Posted March 26, 2005 Report Share Posted March 26, 2005 Good times last night! Great to finally meet up with Weezy after many years, also great to see you again Jeffrey and to meet Keither. All four bands were sounding pretty hot. Loose Acoustic - who are those guys? I was really liking their Medeski-ish sound. Good to finally see themasses. Blue Quarter friggin slayed!!! I haven't heard them in a few years.. And whereas when I last saw them I felt that their sound was going a little stale, I am happy to report that they have definitely innovated their sound and come up with fresh musical ideas. It was intense, everyone was dancin, the drummer was going off! That song where they had 2 basses was cool too. As for Stephen Franke, well, he was good too.
