Don't know if this has been posted but here is a rare Pink Floyd appearance on American Bandstand...not sure of sound quality as I don't have a sound card at work, but the video is pretty shoddy...still kinda cool, they look super young!

thanks - that was excellent! I had that on a Floyd VHS bootleg years back full of rare film clips but hadn't even heard that song for years.

Here, you can clearly see how Syd's days were numbered. By the end of the song he's just standing there blinking while the rest of the band start to laugh at the absurdity of it all.

Thanks for that! (I could have done without the burger ad, but whaddya gonna do.) It really must have sucked to have to ape your own music like that; I always liked bands that could take the mickey out of themselves doing so.

Pleasant spur too to remember the new Waters album due out soon; nice to know this music, and maybe even the culture to support it, has evolved so much in just a few decades.
