TimmyB
I wish I had the opportunity to see all the Wilson brothers on stage together, sadly that was never to happen after Dennis Wilson (the only Beach Boy who was a a surfer) died swimming.I hope Dennis is resting in peace.TimFrom www.billboard.comTHIS DAY IN MUSIC for December 28, 2005.1983 - Dennis Wilson of the Beach Boys drowns while swimming near his boat in the harbor at Marina del Ray, Calif. Rob Not Bob
Dennis Wilson was, IMHO, a fine songwriter who wrote many wonderful songs that were the equal of his more famous brother Brian's, such as "Forever", "4th Of July", "River Song", and "Carry Me Home" ... it's a shame that his one solo album, Pacific Ocean Blue, is not available on CD. I hope that if/and when it is released on Compact Disc it has the same fold open sleeve.Tim
