New Cell Phone Stuff

I'm looking for a new phone provider. What I really want an Iphone 4 without a contract any ideas?

I'm with Fido and they won't let me use $400 my FIDO dollars toward a new Iphone without locking in for 3 years on a data plan, even though I'm still under a contract till April 2012. Complicated part is that I'm moving in the new year to the US, so I need a phone that will work on a US plan starting in January.

any help would be sweet.
