bradm
Fromhttp://ottawajazzscene.ca/upcoming-shows/3519-the-back-talk-organ-trio-at-irenesThe group plays a mix of R&B, soul and jazz: their sound is rooted in the '50s and '60s grits-n-gravy organ-combo tradition, but integrates elements of modern gospel, Latin, and experimental music. Although they enjoy playing smaller, intimate rooms, the trio also feels at home in larger, dancefloor-ready settings where, for parts of the night, they have the option of pulling out the stops and getting on the goodfoot. To get larger rooms moving, R&B diva Iyono Ede typically joins the group, as does alto sax player Ian Babb.Aloha,Brad
