Depends on a persons sociability I suppose. I have had tons of cool experiences with people I've never met before (different tribes) and now feel I can hang with them any time when I see them.

One of my older co-workers just told me that he was in Vermont on the weekend and had to wait in traffic for hours because of some fu©king band named "Fish". He said there was garbage all over the highway. fu©king dirty hippies.

Killbear is just too damn busy. The best time to visit Killbear is in the fall after the park has closed. I've been there in late October and not seen anybody.

Now Killarney is a great park for interior camping, hiking, canoeing all year round.

One of my co-workers is building his retirement home in Mabou and he told me that the Red Shoe has gone out of business. http://www.redshoepub.com/

Definitely drive/camp the Cabot Trail on Cape Breton Island. The only problem right now is that most of it is in the National Park and they may be going on strike soon (some slowdowns perhaps???)

What websites do you people visit religiously every day (besides this one)? The only one I go to everyday is CBC.ca. I visit many different sites every few days, but I'm looking for something new whether it is informative (i.e news/current events) or just plain entertaining.

Any cool sites would be appreciated.

hamilton and I were boozing heavily together recently, talking about all of you and solving the world's problems, when the subject of the Mighty Q came up. We both agreed it's not a bad station but it's format suffers from one very serious problem: extremely unimaginative programming. The "classic rock" format is what it is, fine, whatever, but the bands they play - let's just take the Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd for examples - have huge deep catalogues that never make it on the air. You'd think Pink Floyd had about five songs in their entire body of work, based on what Q plays. Have you ever heard their classic, "Money"? No?? Well, tune your dial to 107.1 and wait fifteen minutes, it's the one that has the sounds of coins and registers at the beginning. And, I really never need to hear "Sympathy For The Devil" or "You Can't Always Get What You Want" ever again. They could so easily keep to their basic format but make a left hand turn into some of this catalogue material, and become slightly more progressive in doing so. Even "Psychedelic Sunday" suffers from this same songs week in, week out.

As long as they keep "Little Steven's Underground Garage", I'm happy. To be honest, it's all I regularly tune to Q107 for anyway.
