Ah.. my first job
-
It's my birthday! I sure wish I could go.. both bands are uber-ACE!!!

Been a while... Just wanted to check up. All is well here in London, UK. I am now a pretty boring chap - I have a full time job at a record label and do the daily commute across town, gripe about the 10-6 and all that jazz...
Do see a lot of bands though.. Here's a few worth noting:

So How is Everyone? If anyone is coming to London (or Amsterdam where I live about one week a month), lemme know.
much love xxx

Hiya,
Kae Sun is coming to Ottawa on THR Feb 28 and our usual crash space is out of town, so I was curious if anyone has some floor space for a few lovely musicians. The show is at the Mercury Lounge and ends early, around 10PM, so if anyone can help out, please let me know
cheers.

PRESS:
"Imagine K-Os backed by Ben Harper's band and you've got Kae Sun" - Maryam Siddiqi - National Post Canada.
"Combining elements of jazz, reggae, hip-hop and rock, Sun is transcending genres, all the while bringing a unique depth to his music." - Mike DiRisio - Brock Press
"With his backing band blurring the lines between jam bands, soul and hip-hop, Kae Sun incited a hip assortment at the Supermarket" - Aaron Levy - Exclaim!
"Kae Sun’s style pays homage to some of his influences, which range from Nina Simone, Marvin Gay, Curtis Mayfield to Bob Dylan, and conscious hip hop artists such as Talib Kweli and Common. However, he should not be narrowly defined as a rapper, because his musical collage includes soundscapes that can catch anyone down with hip hop, soul, reggae or folk by surprise." - Johnathan Robinson - Trent Arthur
