I haven't logged in for over two weeks and the Donair thread is still going!! I love this fuckin board!
I might just have to search out a juicy donair tomorrow, although I am still not sure if a decision has been made on best Donair in Ottawa so I am still a bit confused. Oh well, I am sure there will be a consensus before the end of the summer.

And by the way, wicked board Bouche, being a techie I appreciate this shit, very sweet in numerous ways. Congrats and thanks for the hard work.

Greek Souvlaki House, Baseline and Prince of Wales , it's worth the drive, if you're hungry Real fake meat as far as I'm concerned and good prices. Greek on Wheels used to do a good one too but I think they're out of business, but boy a couple of donair/pitas and some cokes and the hangover is GONE!

Mr Brownstone was almost surreal since I called it as well on the way to the show... anyways enough about myself.
Douglas, I will see your Brownstone and Loved Her, and I will raise you an "It's So Easy". These lyrics go beyond classic for metal heads.
It's nice to see the perseverence of the collective band members, they are very inspiring to myself for picking up their asses and making a go of it with a new band. While VR rides the past in a way, you can't argue with the power of a song like Fall To Pieces, and the closer (not sure of the song name).
Scott Weilland had an amazing stage presence, in fact it was more than the sparse Corel Centre crowd deserved. With maybe 7,000 in attendance, Velvet Revolver played like they were in front on 100,000 at Wembley Stadium, and this my friends is the sign of true rock and fu©kin roll stars. Good on them, and thanks for the SOLID show.

While I am a fan, I don't honestly think that I can watch the new movie. Lucas embarresed himself with the last movie. He should just put it to bed and leave us alone.

Great comments my intelligent jedi Paan, unfortunately that's what makes the world go round these days, and you have obviously made that realization.
Some day we will reverse the evil trend and get back to basics. Our country is a good start and we should be thankful for that.
21st century capitalism, enviromentalism, peace, worship for the children and what is good withen us, etc. Canada will lead the way and form a new idealism eventually, just got to shake off the a$$hole Americans, hopefully Russia/China will knock them into their senses soon and then Canada can bring the New World Order.. Peace and Good Vibes for the World

Well they lost to the JAYS in the '93 world series, I think I was there.
As long as the cap is good and worked in and has a deep burgundy colour then its all good.
Otherwise go back with the legendary triple-striped red white and blue.
Watch out for th Marlins this year. You heard it hear first.

HA! Is Lenny Dykstra still playing?
Mike Schmidt Rules!

Yes I have and I have read many. Maybe the best collection of lyrics presently on the internet.
But I just think that Lennon deserves his own space sometimes. And I'm a newbie so I can get away with it.
Cheers Del. Go Expos.

People say I'm crazy doing what I'm doing,
Well they give me all kinds of warnings to save me from ruin,
When I say that I'm o.k. they look at me kind of strange,
Surely your not happy now you no longer play the game,
People say I'm lazy dreaming my life away,
Well they give me all kinds of advice designed to enlighten me,
When I tell that I'm doing Fine watching shadows on the wall,
Don't you miss the big time boy you're no longer on the ball?
I'm just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round,
I really love to watch them roll,
No longer riding on the merry-go-round,
I just had to let it go,
People asking questions lost in confusion,
Well I tell them there's no problem,
Only solutions,
Well they shake their heads and they look at me as if I've lost my mind,
I tell them there's no hurry...
I'm just sitting here doing time,
I'm just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round,
I really love to watch them roll,
No longer riding on the merry-go-round,
I just had to let it go.

To all those who contribute to the board, Keep on Keepin On.
This board touches and dicusses a smorgas"board" of worthy subjects such as philoshopy, religion, poetry, sports, family issues, personal issues, frustration, pride, road trips, food, friends, tapes/recording, JAMMING, and a pleathora of others .
But most of all this is a place where your voice can be heard. Aint it special when people listen to you? [color:"brown"] Yes it is.
Thanks for introducing me to the Gov't Mule and Nero. My life is better having heard them.
Booche/Bouche/Pat/Barret/ etc. hope to see you soon at the next good show in Ottawa
Michael White and the White are playing Zeppelin II late March. Hope to see you there.
Cheers!

Not smart enough to get the sheep reference, but anyways, you can obviously knock all Stings solo albums/concerts but let's keep it real here - The Police did some great work in the 80's. Name another band besides the dead that put out better music in that decade.

Ollie! Sorry can't take credit, I did try that one at the Grey Cup though.
I may be able to slide Let it Be to number 2, for sentimental reasons also, and on the strength of Across The Universe.

When I was in NYC last fall I was lucky enough to score some Letterman tickets at the last minute and sure enough out came Sting. He played some of his funky worldly music. Apparently he lives on Central Park, so the Letterman show was kind of like a neighborhood gig for him.
I am definitely a fan, he is cool and all POLICE music is Classic.

Hmmmm...in my opinion

Good morning and hello good people,
Allow me to introduce myself, I am Darth Taiter, otherwise known as the drunk guy at the Nero and Moe shows in Ottawa..... hold on.... that doesn't distinguish myself..
Anyways, Bouche, I noticed that your fav album was Let it Be. With all due respect, I hear where you are coming from, however I seriously wonder in my drunken state how you could put this album above Abbey Road?
Just something for you to think about, we could always discuss this over a 24.
Cheers,
The Raptors?

Why wouldn't they take the offer which was on the table to send both picks to the Hornets for Magloire? I thought this trade was happening for sure, did I miss something?
They should have listened to Vince and brought in Dr. J as GM. Peddie is the root cause of the problem.
Have a good Canada Day dudes,
