Yes Nero could of headlined if this fest was in ottawa. but the fanbase around hasn't fully got into Nero yet. The Fat Cats are the kings of jam down. I could see Nero headlining the july next year or mybe doing the saturday at this up coming fest.

Well it was another great weekend up at the gost town, and the weather my god the weather, and the music my god the music, and the drugs my god the drugs, and the people god the people, and the beer my god the beer, and the chicks my god the chicks.

Now thats out of the way, if you were not the this passed weekends fest you missed out on one sick sick Fat Cats set . The fatty's new songs are unreal these guys are slow moving up into there old spot on the Canjam's top 3 bands. Oh ya NERO ah ya NERO they now hold the record for the band that made dance my most. With that unreal jam nere the begining of there set WOW WOW WOW my nee's really hurt today.

But my biggest highlight for me would have to be the late night druming, man CTMF always has great druming untill the sun comings up. Thses late night drum jams made up for the lack of druming at the May 24 for it was -4 at night that makes it very hard to drum.

I love meeting new people, and party with good old CTMF crew, man i love that place. Only like 2 momths till the next time.

bands playing corporate functions? when your in a band thats full time touring, corporate functions are a bonus because mostly the people aren't into it there not musicans so you get a good paying gig and you take it eazy short set eazy songs you have to go all out lots of free beer it great and very very far from selling out. and your in a room with people that have more then 5 bucks in there pocket.

This is why i stay in Canada and hardly ever go to the states. The border crossing i have done have been eazy i've never been seached. my porblems begin once in side the U.S. dealing with state tropers who love pick of Canadians the dealing with most of

the people there.

The band playing last at the cozo wasn't the full fudge band. they seamed soild but the sound was the worst i've ever heard at the cozo and the sound always sucks there. it was so loud (new sound guy working) that it was very hard to get into the groove and mad feedback fuck its really killed the vibe for this guy. im thinking that with the full band this weekend at CTMF and a better sound this band should rock. the sound guy must have been deaf in the left ear or was it the right ear most likly both.

i talked to chris and they all have day jobs now and don't feel like playing till 3am on a tuseday anymore. i think its a good thing now i can get some sleep to, this is only tuseday shows.
