couple yrs back my brother-in-law and I were out fishing...he pulls his fav. sleeman cream ale from the cooler, almost cracks it but then spots something floating around the bottom. It was one of those miniture dime size zip lock bags and still had residue of some drug I presume...

I caught the Chili Peppers on SNL a few weeks back and it was an eye rolling experience. Flea jumping around the stage like he's 16 years old and then (and this was the kicker) they played "Give it Away". I mean COME ON! If you're out promoting a new album, do you not have enough confidence in the material to avoid pulling out a 15 year old song?

ok well I guess you only caught their second song, being what you stated "give it away"

the first song was "Dani California" which is off their new one... dont most bands play their new track and then an old one? I could be wrong

Flea is the shit! I mean how old is the guy and how long have they been doin this?, and he is still giving a high energy performance to his fans...I guess your not into that? but I would like to see more of that energy in every band I see...
