i was told today that the site has been modified this year to allow for over 10,000 people compared to just 7,000 last year.

At $100 i think it's a great value to see Emmylou Harris, Daniel Lanois and Gordon Lightfoot, at the least. Still, it leaves a bad bad taste in my mouth that there are not FULL REFUNDS available for those who disagree.
sums it up nicely.

As for the taking a piss in public example. I believe the bigger issue was the guy was threatened with being charged as a sex offender - at least according the festival organizer.
maybe it was so huge it could be seen by the children in the orphanage miles away ...

lots of people upset ... Harvest Picnic facebook page
the official line of defense appears to be "its a great festival, with a great cause, so why are y'all upset that one performer isn't playing?".
ticket holders now seem to be going after sponsors and various funding agencies to complain. hmmmmm. not good.

The festival was billed as "The Greenbelt Harvest Picnic featuring Neil Young & Friends" ... still has that title on their main webpage ... so I really dont know how they can not give full refunds to people if they wish.
TicketBastard is just doing what they do, defer to the promoter, but surely the festival, Lanois himself, and even Neil's FanClub will take huge credibility hits if they don't do right by people.
Please keep us posted.

Maybe it's time to check out some Dick's.
as I always say, just start with one

Has anyone attempted to request a full refund?

Thread should read:
Scalpers will still try and sell you tickets outside of the Bell Center for 5 times the face value
and as long as someone is willing to pay 5x face, why shouldn't they?

we visited with the artistic director last night and he suggested that some of the unexpected highlights might be Escondido and Ruth Moody. Im also especially looking forward to Sonic Youth's Lee Ranaldo; World Party; Shadowy Men; Wintersleep; the Arts & Crafts sets; Bonnie Prince Billy, and; Diamond Rings, as well as so many other Hillside favourites.
should be another great year.

perhaps if the douchebags at phish tickets didn't dump all the lawns on mail order folks, this wouldn't be happening. yeah, i know ... "[color:purple]ya think?"

Quebec City has nothing to worry about. The Nordiques will return. All this Seattle chatter is just laying the groundwork for possible expansion in two years, and only after the NBA officially announces a team there so they can share the arena.
The "plan" to bring the Coyotes to Seattle this year is beyond laughable.

My taper buddy Lenny from Buffalo taped it last night from the back of the pit. Also there was Scott from Buffalo running his rig. They were on the same stand. Looking forward to those tapes.

Attending a Stones concert these days is much like flying - don't discuss how much you paid for your ticket with the guy next to you!

the phono plug on a stereo amp is amplified. if you plug your phono into aux, it wont be amplified and you wont hear anything. this is the standard with current amps. you can do it if you amplify the phono signal using something like this, tho.
