**= My set list sheet is not workin' so these tunes I drew a blank on.Guess I could've asked a Fat Cat but 33 was callin'.Either that or if there is a name it could be wrong.

    ( )=possible wrong titles.

After the show just about everyone from Cats went to 33 HESS to catch some serious blues/jam, which gave us a killer Shape I,m in,and Superstious.By the way there was only about 8 people for the first of two smokin' sets!!

By the encore there was about 20 some odd people there. They tore it up old school style.

The "Choices>Jam>Breadbox>Maracas"was amazing!!!!! The jam was killer teased a couple tunes I think.(??)The show ened about 1:00,it got goin' around 10:30(ya'll know the Cats)

The show kicked ass for a small crowd, it smoked all were dancin'.............special thanks to the Brantford freaks fer givin' 'er!!!!!!!!

The rumor and I can't underline the word rumor enough is that this was the real last night @ the Casbah. From there who knows, everyone who knew anything was rather tight lipped.

I,d like to see the place stay open(even if I work @ PJ's)it has always gave me nothin' but kick ass music.!!!

ps I still want the sign!

    Wonderin'

  2. Last night at the Corktown i saw BDP/HF.Being a huge Dylan fan I was eagerly awaiting their interpation of Bob,I wasn,t dissapointed!

I must say the corktown was the wrong venue for these guys, they played the coolest bluesy Dylan I,ve heard in a very long time.

    quote:

Bob Dylan cover band doesn't necessarily mean a Bob Dylan impersonnator...just a band doing his songs. (Which are beautiful.)

I agree and the beautiful girl that was singing for BDP/HF (I forget your name...sorry)was doing a unreal job.I love different ways to enjoy Dylan......

    Can't wait for Dec.6 @ rancho relaxo,Hiway freeker again.

Some say Dylan is an aquired taste,if thats true thenthats all I taste!!!I'd fly across Canada to see Bob....wait I did in 98 Van Morrison,Bob Dylan,Joni Mitchell well worth the air fare on top of that Bob was playing the Rage the night before the GM place show with Van,Joni.Great show!!(s)

I even pulled out my copy of Tarantula and giving it a read again.Great book.

I say if ya like Dylan then check these cats out!

    Great musicians,great people!!

    thank you

    wishfully

  3. Hey isn't there a way where we can have an bank account created for a charity and just give the account number out so we can make deposits?I mean a deposit only except for the charity to which it goes.I've seen the family in Niagara Falls did it to raise money for their sons treatments in Germany. We could decide on a charity, contact whoever we need to set it up?

I,m with shainhouse, being a survivor of cancer I also think that one would be a good idea.

Either way:A charity or a local charity I'm in.

    Greg

  4. I can't go tomorrow cuz we got Jomma at PepperJacks, but on saturday HF/Bob Dyaln Projest @ The CorkTown Tavern in Hamilton.

Strange venue to play(They picked it)should be quite interesting.

PS The CorkTown is now a kinda biker bar and the other half is usally a punk bar/stage on weekends. The Fat Cats used to play there in 92-93 but it was a little different then(just a little)but this will be a great show regardless.

Don't let this stop ya from goin'.

    Buy low sail high

  6. Well I think whats in a name?I myself go to dance, smile, have a crazy fuckin time and hear great fuckin music,I seen the Deadthru the mid eigtys to the end and all that mattered to me was the music, and will remian that way for me,call it what you will but in the end I,m there to listen and dance,So I say [Mad] WHO FUCKING CARES WHAT THEY CALL THEM SELVES!!!!Just keep shaking my bones and I'm happy!! [smile][smile]

  7. I thought the Bus smoked, wish they could of played longer,I had work the door on wed show so I didnt get to give er like I wanted, then The comfort zone I was able to give er(shortly)but it was killer.Lake Trout on the other hand messed my head up(meght of been the E)but I really didnt care for it,nice and disturbing, but probally would have been better if they were somewhere else, maybe opening for D&T might have worked? But the Bus rocked, love that band.

  8. Just wanted to add my 2 cents,I been going to the Cats since the days of Corktown and Dundas Driving Park(92)and before that there was Hightimes,I lived 25 years of my 32 in Hamilton, the place can suck but thats what getting away is all about. The music scene always seems to go in and out.But loseing thursdays at the Casbah is really bad,Doug got that place going musicly, sad sad times, but hey Wed. night at Pepper Jacks,Doug!!!

Hey to all the Fattie fans!!!

Second Tube,Jay,Whore See ya there as always

  9. Right on! Iremember that show at comfort zone,me and my girl friend at the time got to have a great talk with Ritchie outside just after the show.Great great show I will be there, just look for the guy with lots of tattoos,I got a tiger on my arm and one on my neck(just to point out the easiest ones to spot) if ya see me say hello be nice to meet some of the people on this site, since I always forget to say hello at Frontier town to all the people.

    Well keep smilin'
