What a wicked guy.

I will never forget the time that a mutual friend of Dave and myself called Dave to get me into a sold out Ratdog show in Buffalo at the Town Ballroom (I ended up going with Baj, actually). Later on, our mutual friend called me and said that there is going to be a package delivered to me soon. A few weeks later I got this huge package...which I opened to find 20 brand spanking new Dick's Picks and a the Winterland DVD. David Lemiuex and my friend had thought it would be a nice gift...incredible.

I am happy to see he is getting his own series of releases. I look forward to hearing it...

The Town Ballroom is one of my favourite venues...I've seen some great shows there.

I really enjoyed the festival. I was really happy with the reasonably priced Saranac in the venue..what other festival can you find 5 dollar drafts for?

Young quit Buffalo Springfield two separate times during the band's brief existence in the mid-1960s, so let's hope this new postponement doesn't turn into a cancellation.

I agree. One of the reasons why I didn't feel I "had" to go to Roo to see them was because I felt that Buffalo Springfield would tour soon thereafter.

The fest was great. Lots of funny moments that would really only be funny to the three people that I went with. Otherwise they would just be strange... Bob Weir coming out for a few tunes with moe. was super cool.

How new is your laptop? Maybe you don't have the juice to run iclips.net?

Not sure where you llive afro poppa, but I can fly back to detroit RT for under $300 US, I think I paid ~$240 in June on Southwest. I think you can get decent prices on flights from buffalo, too.

I'm gonna get some tix for sunday night and maybe saturday, but I can't make friday.

Thanks for the tip! I have found some flights for under 400 RT from Detroit. Most likely driving from Toronto > Detroit then flying from there...IF I can convince a friend or two to come with me. Wish me luck!
