Shit, that sounds like a good time at the Elbow. Wish I could make it but I'm throwing a party at the pad, anyone looking for something to do pre or post show, stop by 295 Powell Avenue (Cornor of Bronson & Powell) for some drinks some laughs and maybe a little foosball.

Happy Birthday boys, congrats on making it through another year!!

I believe they are referring to "The Grapes Of Vaudvillian Fantasy" but as far as I know Govinda isn't a part of the band, I saw them at the Vibes this year and she wasn't in it, and when I talked to her at Moe.down she didn't say anything about being in a band, I could be wrong though.
PS - I'm IN LOVE with flute girl

Hey Guys
I'm doing a project for school (promotional event for a local mall) and need a jazz band to play for 3 hours during the event. What I need is just an average price for a local jazz band for 3 hours to put into our budget. Anybody with any info please let me know, as once again I've left this to the last minute.
Thanks

Don't worry nobody saw it , so it never happened. Just don't be showing anyone your bruised butt and your secret will be safe By the way thanks for breaking my fall down those stairs, my hero!!! As for the mittens, it's genetic, Scotian's always lose shit when they're trashed, though I've never in my life seen someone lose so many mittens in such a short time

LJFH, you're an absolutely tolerant angel for putting up with that racket
Lets set the record straight Bradley, we all know it was Little Jodie doing all the snoring...Kidding!!! He's right you put up with a lot, and it was totally appreciated. Hope we get to preform the Snorecestra again for you sometime

Just wanted to say that that was a great weekend in Albany, from the Schlager / Stripper craziness in Rockport to the show, to the party in the Ramada (Thanks Andre and Lynn) Had the best time of my life, much love to those I'd met before, those I met for the first time and of course those I travelled down with, I'll never forget that border guard - "The Grateful Dead, ya they're into drinking mostly" . Little Jodie it was so great to meet you, us east coasters gotta stick together in this strange land, hope to see you in Ottawa sometime soon!!! As for my show highlights, gotta say that crazy version of Casey Jones is close to the top as is Good Lovin, UJB, Stella and Drumz, a tune I never truly appreciated until I saw it live!!! Wish I was hitting the rest of the tour, to those who are, have a grate time!!

PS - Bradley, you look so quiet over there!

My buds on the GOTV message board are throwing an afterparty for aftyer the TOO show in albany, I've heard good things about Tapestry and it promises to be a good show, I hope everyone feels like coming out. I promised the band a big Canadian invasion, so lets represent!!!
here's the details off the website:
Tapestry will be playing a special Boardie Party Jam AFTER The Other Ones show on November 16th at The Knick in Albany! We have a kickin sound system and some trippy lights. We play a lot of dead grooves along with some other groovin tunes. Check us out on the web site listed below - I will update the site with an official announcement this weekend.
. . .And it's only walking distance from the arena on lower Madison Ave, about 2-3 blocks away. It is called the Capital City Lodge. We have the room from 11:30 until 3:30.
The admission will be around $5 and there will be a bar.
We will post a map at some point and we will have flyers at the show. I hope some of the other ones feel like jammin a little afterwards!
I am truly PSYCHED to party late night with you wonderful people. If your staying in albany or you need to freak a little longer after the show - come on, let's go run and see . . .
Hope to see you all there!!!

Posted this in the Rides forum, but I feel like no one ever looks there.....
------------------------------------------------------
Just wondering who's heading down to Albany for TOO on the 16th, I've got money, cc, zen-like driving abilities and a tap dancing monkey that plays the kazoo. Looking mostly for a ride from Ottawa, as I'm getting too broke to rent a car (but it's always an option, I get half price cars) So let me know, I also have 2 extras to the show if anyones interest....
PS - Keller plays the night before and Les Claypool plays the night after, if anyone is interested in making a weekend of it, also let me know

Normally I would recommend "OEM Express"
off bronson or "Crawford Microsystems" on Merivale, but the more I explore this Sprint compter website, I think they might have the other two beat, in fact I think I'm gonna go buy some new shit.
good luck with your purchase brad
