i did that too once and i can still see it, it was the dream of a massive flood that was raging through an old stone building -- like an old mill or something you'd see in ontario or quebec -- and the mill was on a drop , so this water was a huge waterfall beside it and rushing through the door and windows on the first floor of this building... (and i almost never remember my dreams)

then i saw that scene of a quebec flood the next day on the news, that was a freaky one...

i've also read that sometimes when people are experiencing heavy deja vu it has soemthing to do with signals from one eye or ear or something hitting the brain a split second before the other one does, causing a slight short circuit...

i dont' know what hotel you guys are looking into, but i've stayed at the city hotel (oh damn, i think that's right) i'll look it up - twice in fredericton and i stupid loved it there.

its all pine panelling and wooden and it has a lobster restaurant right in the building, great for breakfast the next morning etc...

look into it if the hotel thing is still up in the air -- oh i dont' know how close it is to the bar though...

well that's a good way to do it, i remember a time being stuck out in manoi de rapides or what the fuck for a gig one year (hallowe'en if i remember correctly... hmm?) and hardly anyone was there and the band wasn't going to play and blah blah blah -- this way you know at least 40 looped up people are gonna be there for sure !!
