Ok, enough of the Ohio State thread... we all know its just a home for Sloth, Whitey and I.
So here's to a new season and a two new divisions. The Leaders and the Legends.
The schedule makers sure weren't easy on Big Red giving us Wisconsin and Ohiso State back to back but at least it will be a good test for the Huskers. Taylor Martinez has apparently had a great off season and is ready to step up and be the leader we need at QB. He's healthy and worked on his arm quite a bit.
Will be at the home opener at Memorial Stadium against Chatanooga on September 3rd and after media day yesterday I cant wait for this to get going!

Im stoked for football starting and even more stoked for seeing my Huskers in Lincoln Nebraska opening day Sept 3rd. Go Big Red!
Woohoo!

Thats the impressions of the down side of moe.down as well NW. I hate festivals that you have to trek in with your gear... its always a pain.
Maybe we'll make a trek down to see the inlaws in Nebraska and catch a Cornhusker game.
-
OK so now moe.down has entered into the equation being the same weekend as Phish Colorado.
Would love to see Levin and Bobby together.
anyone have anything good to say about the new location?
hmmm.

Who's going where?
After the Ball I've got the itch to see at least one more show before they take a "break". Only issue is the closest shows are Chicago and super hard to find a ticket.
So who is catching what and who's got my hetty extras?

Been following on Twitter. Hope everyone in Ottawa is safe and no major injuries from the collapse.
-

-

I dont know if i could actually put a review together as there was just so much going on and so much fun had. Good friends, good music. good times. Fun to meet up with c towns, Schwa, and BradM on day one even if it was the entire time the rest of the weekend. Mellie and I had some great camping mates from St. Louis and Indiana beside us in the FARTHEST camp site from the venue. My feet still hurt. My "I'd walk a mile to hear a Llama" shirt would never have been more perfect... if only they played it.
Freeker and Northern Wish, you guys rock man, it was so much fun having a little dance crew together for each set on Friday and Saturday. Thanks again for the pints guys. Perfect.
What a setlist the weekend had. Booche, you were right... im still blown away I finally got Forbins, and with narration taboot. I got 24 first timers this weekend out of the 203 different sings Phish have played at my 29 shows.
Whos got the biggest balls of them all?
Thank you Phish.

Let's see who gets their songs they most want to hear... obviously we know the ones that are in heavy rotation right now... Possum, Bowie, BDTNL etc.
Here are mine in no partucliar order.
1. Sand
2. The Lizards
3. Scents and Subtle Sounds ( With Intro)
4. Steam
5. Walls of the Cave (With Trey not botching the openning like on the last video)
There are a tonne of songs that Ive been chasing for years... still havent got my Forbin's>Mockingbird and they just played it again so Im not holding my breath. Im thinking an Alumni Blues and Dog Log may make an appearnace as well.Your thoughts and picks? Getting stoked to leave on Thursday. My Mind needs this weekend.

The Gorge definitely has its moments...
The RnR>Meatstick>Boogie on is money.
The above video sure shows what Kuroda could do with the Hollywood Bowl even minimally. Im hearing he tore it up.
The thing that stands out to me most so far is the 9 shows since teh last YEM.
