Here is a 500GB at Staples for $159.99.
And another 500GB for cheaper at Future Shop.
-
Tickets are reasonably priced in this day and age of stupid pricing.
-
gross.
I completely concur. Dylan and the Dead do Starbucks, what a shame.

Anybody listening to the streaming version of this. We have had it running at home pretty much since it started and have noticed that they are definitely stuck in loops.
Last night early evening was particularly bad. There was a 40 minute loop that was repeated at least 3 times in a row. Elvis Costello doing Ship Of Fools again and again. I'm new to this Sirius stuff. Do the stations loop themselves like this regularly or was this just a programming screw up.
Also it seems, now I could be completely off base here, that the Internet stream is not the same as the direct stream that you would hear on your Sirius Tuner. Can that be true???

Sweet, just in time for the new car delivery today with the Sirius factory install.

Well it's been many moons since Jenn and I have chatted with Todd, so many in fact that I don't think Sara was a partner at the time. I must say a big congrats to an old friend however. Sure do look happy in that pic.
Cheers

Wish I could go!!
But with being 3 hours from Toronto and 10 month old twins at home it aint happenin.
Glad someone could make better use of this iver those people at RFD buying Tickets who don't even know who Van Morrison is.
-
Supposedly this works
Van Morisson is playing at the Hummingbird Centre in Toronto tonight. Tickets cost $200, but here's a way to get them for $2.50 (yes that says $2.50!)
Go to ticketmaster.ca and proceed to order tickets as you usually would. When you get to the page that asks you how many you want, go to the "Ticketdeals Partner Offer" section and enter the password "Eps". If the show is not sold out yet, your tickets should show up as free...you then only have to pay the $2.50 handling charge.
See this thread here....

Wow the Hippiefest smells of 10000+ empty seats. Heck if Furthur only managed to sell 4000 ticks in TO this one has got to stink.

Jesus & Mary Chain added. Wow what a lineup.
Wow the Jesus and Mary Chain. I love the fukkin band. They started out as a bunch of anarchistic wankers. 3 Strings on their guitars, 20 minute concerts a whole bunch of Fuck You's to their crowd, brilliant stuff. Feedback and noise.
One of my conert highlights was seeing JMC at the Concert Hall in the late 80's. Remember thinking I was gonna die that day, boy what a rowdy crowd.
Still have them in my iTunes lineup.

I guess one of the other questions will be how will the radio airplay game fair for him. Without the major label lobby junket to get the songs on the air, will it get the proper push from the stations.

I'm surprised with all the Hamiltonians past and present on this board no one has mentioned Iron Mike Sharpe
I remember being a the Very First Ever Royal Rumble at Copps Colliseum it was a Saturday Night Main Event being filmed live for TV.
Dino Bravo was attempting the world bench press record.
Ah Good Times!!!
-
Jay I sent you a private mail off the board with regards to vending.

That was the show, which would have been '86. Why didn't you come up and say 'hello'? lol
Given my night out on the street, I did have front-row centre tickets, and am proud to say that I actually touched the lead-singer-guy's boot. Yep. Revere me.
I proably would not have been able to say boo to anyone that night. My buddy Steve & I were Shroomin n Zoomin. I think tickets were a ridiculous $14 for that show. I'll have to find my stub.
-
Ah the Stranglers,
Still have my stub from Massey Hall in 86 or 87. They are still in my iTunes mix. Golden Brown. Good Times.

I am the Marketing Manager for a Privately Owned 8 Branch HVAC, Plumbing, IPVF & Refrigeration Supply Company. I get to work my own time from where I want. It's great.
My Wife & I also have had a small seasonal hippy shop in Sauble Beach called Irie Sky for the past 6 years. Sadly this time in our life is coming to an end. We also part time still wholesale our Hempopotamus products here and there.
We really do seem to have an amazing bunch here. It just shows you good music and good times transcends all.

86.1 perhaps better speakers than the tinny ones in the iBook would have made a difference.

Hey Willy,
I know you like the VW's. Go the next step and build yourself a GreaseCar. Jenn and I contemplated that up here.

If you are in Grey/Bruce - Vote Ross King for Trustee - He's my Dad!
Hey Sunshine, My Wife Jenn & I voted for your Dad. Jenn was one of your mum's students when taking her PSW course.

Enjoy Yourself!! Hopefully your audience will be in more of a dancing mood than they were in the Hammer on Tuesday. Finally Dave Hidalgo said get up and dance.
I beleive you also get Blackie & the Rodeo Kings as an opener tonight.
-
Yew Willy it was great to meet once again. Hamilton hospitality at its finest.
It was a shame to see what I would guess to be only 500 people at the show. What a fantastic band and what a way to mix up the traditional with the rock and blues.
I've wanted to see these guys on their own for a long time. We've only ever had the pleasure to catch them at a festival.
If any of you Toronto peeps have nothing to do Friday. Go check em out at Massey Hall. If you love music you will not be dissappointed. Better yet check em out in Brampton of all places on Sat night.
Mad props go out to the drummer, Cougar Estrada. I cant find his bio on their official site. Man that boy can lay down the beats.
You also forgot to mention the Cinnamon Girl closer after the Bertha. Hey Willy set your VCR they are on Conan on Monday Night.
