Tickler... the Gypsy Co-op is at 817 Queen Street West. That's just a bit west of Bathurst (before Trinity Bellwoods park) on the south side of the street. Music starts around 10:00.
-
do you play anything Tickler? You could always come down to the Gypsy for the accoustic jam on Monday. Even if you don't play anything it's a good place to enjoy some music, have a few pints and relax in a space that's as comfortable as an east coast kitchen.

Rather than going with both garlic and ginger in the tea make a garlic broth (tasty even when you're not sick) and have ginger tea with cayenne

Sweet, Remenyi... what kind of a deal could I get on some music there? I'm looking for copies of about 12 different operas. (Never hurts to ask!)
-
Not that I know of but I'll check with Geoff (or you can ask him yourself tonight).

Just a reminder folks! It's Monday once again ::

Hampsie Cameron
(No, I was not terribly creative in naming my hampster at three years old)

Oh what a night! Contact was good too - bounced back and forth between shows and had a blast :: In fact, I may still be drunk.
-
Love you lots girl! Happy birthday ::

I've never been to Shoreline but have heard lots of good things about it. As far as Ontarians heading to Maritime festivals... you can pretty much count on the misplaced east coasters planning trips home for one or two this summer.

mmmm.... *drool* Why isn't it spring yet??

Hahaha... I did recently drop a couch on my toe trying to get it down a set of stairs but no, that's Ian Anderson (my idol) of Jethro Tull who's known for playing his flute with one leg in the air.
I actually did have both my flute and sax out last week and did some singing too... maybe it was before and after you were there though if you don't remember them. I'll introduce you tonight

Hey boys and girls, guess what day of the week it is! Make a special place in your heart for Mondays and come on down to celebrate the beginning of a new week by jammin' out, getting funked up and groovin' away that 'case of the Mondays' you may have.
Music starts at 10:00 so see ya then!

I just dropped a couch on my big toe.

heh heh ::

Wish you could come out and drink at the Gypsy on Monday mooose. I'll down a tall, frosty one for ya
-
Yeah, really glad I went out to this. Brought my horns but was really there to feel it out - I'll probably play next time Had a good night though and stayed much longer than I'd planned! Looking forward to next month

I've been noticing a lot of generalization about girls on this site lately.

Remember that there's always the Gypsy! And folks, if you get there after 10:00 and don't see us all gathered at the back it means we've moved upstairs to the Hooch! The owner's been waiting until the night got big enough to fill out its own venue and I think we've made it :: The Hooch is a crazy, cozy space that can be all our own... it's got a stage, funky kitchen style floors and our own bar So come on out and drink away those valentine "Who's got my wookie" blues away with us. It'll be our own Maritime kitchen party on Queen Street west!

Have a good one buddy
Make that a happy birthday from the whole east coast house!
-
Woohoo! Just like sitting in Derek's living room!

Media 'fasts' can be good things, especially if you find that the daily onslaught of crappy news gets to you more than it should. A week without actively watching the news or reading the paper doesn't hurt. Often times you'll find that folks around you will inadvertantly keep you informed anyway.
