  1. The festival lineup does look like kife so I can see why you'd be upset but it ain't nothin' against the organizer. Fear not Jared, I take your comments at face value and now I think we all know what you meant by them.

If they'd invited Joyslam again, I might have gone.

  2. Interesting review. I would've liked to see the Silver Hearts in a smaller venue than Barrymore's and pick up any difference in the audience. That being said I thought they were great wehn I saw them

The best thing about the E-Bar is all the olives they give you in a martini

  3. I didn't vote Miles off because I'm anti-jazz..far from it. I haven't cast any of my votes in Survivor 1 or 2 based on legacy or influence but on how these artists affected me personally.

That being said...and God will strike me down for this...I have to kick the Boy named Sue into a burning Ring of Fire

  5. I actually have alot of respect for what you're doing, of course it's a tough job and not for the faint of heart but if you have a thorough knowledge of what you sell and how best to prepare it you'll win people's hearts almost as much as a gay hairdresser wins housewives. And if I trust your opinion I'll happily throw down for some organic free range filet mignon (last I checked it was $27 a kilo).

And please extoll the virtues of boiled brisket dinner for all involved in your work!

  6. It's probably been lost to the "upgrade" but there was an Ottawa restaurant thread several months ago with alot of good recommendations.

Since you specified "all over the map" and the Market I've been hearing pretty good things about Blue Cactus, although I haven't been myself. And I know this might not fit your criteria but The Manx has consistently blown me away with an outstanding yet reasonable food menu and a top-notch beer and scotch menu. They're still serving UrBock on tap which puts them in good standing with me.
