  1. Depends what kind of food they like- TO has some of the best ethnic food around. Chinese, Japanese/sushi, Korean, good tacos, Indian, Italian or anything else you could want.

Great lunches include all the great Korean noodle joints, La Porchetta for a killer sammy, plus there are so many good patios,

Staying close to the show for dinner, check out Ossington or Roncey. Tons of wicked good eats around there- as well as Parkdale for funky/trendy/TASTY eats.

  2. The "cottage" I'm at is fully set up. 8 burner stove- two ovens two dishwasher plus outdoor kitchen.

The crew are all foodies but I have to think of the kiddies as well. A few quiches might be a good idea. Maybe just make a bunch of egg wraps with some options.

  3. I've had lunch there a few years ago but haven't followed up. Always looking for good spots in the west.

My favourite place closed down (bc of a divorce- not food quality) and I really don't have a new spot. I've been doing K&B which is an all you can eat place. It's pretty good and fresh but doesn't wow me.

Japango in Toronto is one of the better places I've tried recently. It's small and busy.

  4. Pretty great show. Great stage production and musicianship. Muse walks a fine line between epic and cheese. When they cross that line (to my ears) it makes me cringe. Lots of radio hits I didn't like in the past won me over last night, but with a few cheese/cringe-worthy moments.

One of the best arena rock bands out there for sure.

Totally worth checking out if you have the chance. I still won't be listening to them often, but I would go see them again.

  5. I had some tickets drop in to my lap at the last minute so I'm going to check out Muse tonight at the ACC.

I was not a big fan of what I have heard on the radio but I love the song Madness. I've heard they put on a hell of a show so I figure it is worth checking out. It seems like their fans are pretty devoted.

Has anyone seen them before? Thoughts on the experience?

I'm heading in with an open mind and hoping to be blown away. Should be quite the spectacle.
