Davey Boy 2.0
Paul Peschisolido's on-off move from Fulham to Sheffield United is definitely on after Blades boss Neil Warnock struck a cut-price deal and the striker took a massive pay cut. The 30-year-old, who spent two months on loan at Bramall Lane last season, will sign subject to a medical in a move that will cost the Blades £250,000 - which will be paid if they win promotion to the Premiership. It is believed the Cottagers demanded £1million for the former Birmingham, Stoke and West Brom forward - who Warnock will play alongside Carl Asaba. "Paul has had to take a large drop in money but has been prepared to do that because he really wanted the move," said Warnock. "Paul's arrival brings a better balance to the squad. If you take away Asaba we struggled for goals from strikers last season."
