The tour will end at the Orpheum Theatre in New Orleans -- on April 27, the first weekend of JazzFest, with the New Deal opening.For the April 27 show, tickets ($25) will be on sale February 22 at 10:00am Central via Ticketmaster (504-522-5555 or http://www.ticketmaster.com/). Later this week, the full tour schedule and Tickets-By-Mail information will be available on http://www.phish.com/Page is putting the finishing touches on Vida Blue's studio album, primarily recorded last fall in New Orleans, and will be mixing the tracks later this month with longtime collaborator Jon Siket. The album is due out in early summer on Elektra. The band expects to tour again in July.-------------------- Within three days of each other, every member of Phish made a guest appearance with another act last week. Here's the rundown: Benefit for "Mr. Charlie" (with Page McConnell) 02/06/02 Higher Ground - Winooski, VermontThe show was a benefit for "Mr. Charlie" Frazier, a local musician with health difficulties. Several Vermont bands played, including the John Tower Group, Doctor Jones, Nobby Reed Project, and the Seth Yacavone Band. Mr. Charlie's band, Blues for Breakfast, performed in three configurations representing eight years of the group's history. Phish keyboardist Page McConnell joined the first of these line-ups for renditions of "Scarlet Begonias" and "Franklin's Tower." A silent auction at the event offered such items as a one-hour drum lesson with Jon Fishman, and tickets and passes to an upcoming Trey show. About 400-500 people were in attendance.--------------------------------Seth Yacavone Blues Band (with Trey Anastasio) 02/07/02 Tribeca Blues - New York, New YorkPhish guitarist Trey Anastasio made a surprise appearance on-stage for nearly the entire second set. The setlist featured mostly Seth Yacavone originals and blues standards. Also played were "Hurricane" and "Tom Thumb's Blues". The entire night was filled with intense guitar dueling between Seth and Trey.--------------------------------DJ Logic "Trios" Show (with Mike Gordon) 02/07/02 Knitting Factory - New York, New YorkDJ Logic hosted a unique show consisting of 4 trios, each composed of Logic himself and two special guests. The trios were: Logic, Christian McBride, Karrem Riggens, Scratch Logic, Charlie Hunter, Billy Martin Logic, Mike Gordon, John Medeski Logic, Michael Kang, Rob WassermanThe set featuring Phish bassist Mike Gordon lasted about 25 minutes.
