CHAMELEON PROJECT. Ever heard of them?

Somwhat of a Live Jazz/Dub band coming to Pepper Jack's Sat. May 1st.

Yep, totally.

I tried out for this band about two years ago, was offered the spot on bass and turned it down. They are a good band, a very smart band. 3 of them are jazz school grads. Keyboard player is a personal friend of mine. They like jazz and reggae and they are pretty skilled, very groovy drummer and a technically proficient guitarist for sure. I heard some of their latest recording and it was pretty good though I didn't love the reggae.

They are a 4-piece: G, B, D, K

so phishy...did you name your Victoria band Chameleon in honour of your personal friend?

Strangely enough, the Victoria band came first. It was just an ironic twist of fate that after I moved to Toronto, the first band I tried out for had a similar name.

Thanks Phishy K I've heard good things about them myself but haven't yet seen them live. I'm really diggin their cd though. Jazz>dub>techno>Jammin, they have a nice range of styles. Visuals too.
