anybody use iTunes for burning cds?

i am havin a problem.

i can't get it to burn anything. i put in a cd, it plays it, but where it says "burn playlist" or whatever, it just stays gray so i can't click on the damn thing. boooooooo. anybody know what i'm doing wrong?

Hello meggo, I have a mac and use itunes.

when you put in the blank disc, does it ask you which program to use it with? If not, then the computer may not be reading the disc as blank and that's why you get the grey symbol.

i think you are right my technology-friendly sister.

it says i need to find some "autorun" somewhere on my computer. so this is my mission.

When you pop the blank in, a little window should come up and ask you which program, finder, itunes, something else i can't remember. If that doesn't happen(which sometimes it doesn't if you've using poopy quality discs) then restart the computer, if it still doesn't work, then use a different disk.

That should be the only problem you have with your mac, they're awesome, don't listen to the masses

i'm actually using iTunes for windows... not a mac user! but i think the problem is the same.
