bouche
I recently posted whatever I captured from last weekend's Slip Montreal appearance. By recently, I mean today. The lighting in the venue reaked of reds, which is completely out of my field of expertise. There is one photo that will always give me chills. Pointing my nozzle at Brad, he basically smiled directly into the lense for a good 5 seconds while I set the aim. Before the show, I was mentioning that after talking to a few photographer friends in toronto and hamilton, they had opted for avoiding photography and focusing on the show and full on enjoyment. I've learned that to take a camera to a show, you really miss out on so much, or rather I think it takes practice to be able to take in both the show, and capture the images. So, here are the photos I have... The Slip 10-16-2004 Also recall Guigsey and my photos from 05-27-2004 Clearly, venu lighting is an issue. Most venues in Ottawa have crap lighting. However, places like Cafe Dekcuf and Barrymores have amazing lighting. I'm off to the Cafe Dekcuf tonight in hopes of nice Stephen Franke photos. Here's smilin' Brad...
