No idea if this has been talked about already, but if not...

"We are proud to announce the Zooma Tour! The inaugural multi-stage tour will

feature headliners Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals and Trey Anastasio. A

total of 20 to 25 guest acts will rotate performances throughout the tour, with

at least four guest acts playing on each date. The Zooma Tour will kick off on

June 16 and stop at amphitheaters in at least 28 major North American markets,

concluding on July 31. A confirmed list of dates and performers will follow in

the next few weeks.

"I always knew that Ben was a great singer but after seeing him at Bonnaroo, I

realized what an amazing guitarist he is," Trey Anastasio says. "I'm really

looking forward to being on the road with him this summer." Ben Harper

continues, "For myself and the Innocent Criminals, we can't wait to be on the

Zooma tour this summer. We've been looking forward to doing shows with Trey for

a long time. I also look forward to seeing a lot of great music on the second

stage."

The Zooma Tour will be a multi-faceted entertainment event featuring two

performance stages and a complete activity village with vendors and attractions.

Inspired by the Bonnaroo tradition, the Zooma Tour will extend the festival's

spirit, presenting diverse lineups to open minded music fans in local

communities. The Zooma Tour will also retain Bonnaroo's festive atmosphere and

dynamic entertainment options, not to mention its superior standard for quality

live music.

In addition to full shows from Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals and Trey

Anastasio, a host of acts from a variety of genres will each join the tour for

approximately one week each. With its touring format, eclectic lineup, myriad

activities, and modern cultural consciousness, the Zooma Tour is certain to be a

phenomenal summer music event.

I have a feeling Canada will get skipped for this tour... I'd love to see it come up here, but Trey doesn't exactly have a great track record recently of visiting us... You never know...

The one thing that gives me hope about Trey coming to Canada a bit more is his new manager, Coran Capshaw. He is manager for DMB and he gets them up here almost annually, occasionally for crosss-Canada tours.

Toronto is certainly in the top 28 major NA markets, and with strong showings at Ben Harper shows in Toronto in the past I would put good money on the tour stopping here.
